What we believe
Craft and family first.
We make apps for your Apple devices. We're a small studio run by a parent, building things our own family can be proud of. We'd rather finish one thing properly than start three things quickly.
We think the problem was never screens. It's screens as the destination, designed to steal your attention and keep you there. The apps we make are launchpads and darkrooms: they help you get out the door, and they help you keep what happened. The living is done off the screen.
We promise nothing we make will ever farm your attention or treat your family's life as the product. No feeds, no streaks, no one to perform for.

Froloom is in development: a family adventure app for goals you set yourselves and finish together, with something real to hold at the end. It isn't out yet.

About the studio
Maluna Studio began with our kids, and with our own search for a healthier place for technology in family life. We've seen what apps built to capture attention do to children and to households, and we believe there's a better way to make them. We build only for Apple platforms because that ecosystem gives a small studio the tools to meet our standards for privacy.
